These Terms are a contract between you and Remembite, the service at remembite.com (“Remembite”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Remembite at remembite.com, you agree to them. Our Privacy page and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explain how we handle your data. Your consent to store health-related data is a separate choice that you make on its own screen. Accepting these Terms does not give it.

What Remembite is

Remembite is a nutrition memory for your AI assistant. You connect an assistant such as Claude. When you ask it to log food, the assistant works out the nutrition values and sends them to Remembite. Remembite stores them, compares them with a reference catalog based on USDA FoodData Central, and shows them back as meals, daily totals and charts. If a number looks far off, Remembite does not save it and asks your assistant to check with you first.

The Remembite app at remembite.com/app lets you view your meals, set goals, edit or delete meals, export your data, disconnect apps and delete your account. You log meals through your AI assistant. ChatGPT works the same way when you connect Remembite to it.

Your account

You sign in with your email address. Each time you sign in, we email you a one-time sign-in link and a 6-digit code that expire in 10 minutes. You do not create a password. Accounts we create for app store reviewers use a password we set. Keep access to your email and devices secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at hello@remembite.com if you think someone else has access.

Log your own meals. Do not log another person’s health information unless you have the right to.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use Remembite. If you are under 18, you may use Remembite only if a parent or legal guardian agrees to these Terms for you, where the law of the place you live requires it. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we may close it and delete its data.

Not medical advice

Remembite is a record-keeping tool. It does not give medical, dietary or nutritional advice. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. It is not a medical device.

  • Ask a doctor or registered dietitian before you change your diet. This matters most if you are pregnant, take medication, or manage diabetes, kidney disease, food allergies or another condition.
  • The goals you set are your own. We do not tell you what they should be.
  • If you have or suspect an eating disorder, or tracking food makes you anxious, stop using Remembite and talk to a health professional. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency number.
  • Never rely on Remembite to check for allergens or to decide a medication dose.

Numbers are estimates

Your AI assistant works out calories and macros from your words and its own knowledge. Real values depend on brand, recipe, preparation and portion size. Remembite compares each number with a USDA reference and shows a confidence level and a range. These are checks, not guarantees. An assistant can also mishear or misread you, so look at what was logged. We do not promise that any estimate, total or summary is accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose.

Your data and our license

You own your data. You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, copy and display it, only to provide Remembite to you. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising. You can export or delete it at any time in the app. The Privacy page has the details.

Remembite’s software, design, name and the way we compile our food catalog belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only as these Terms allow. Food reference data comes from USDA FoodData Central.

Acceptable use

Do not:

  • break the law or use Remembite to harm others;
  • access, test or probe another person’s account or data, or get around access controls or rate limits;
  • use scripts or bots to bulk-copy our catalog or to resell or sublicense Remembite;
  • reverse engineer Remembite, except where the law allows it;
  • send malicious code or overload or disrupt the service;
  • put instructions aimed at AI systems into food names or saved foods;
  • share your sign-in or let others use your account;
  • use Remembite in a way that breaks the terms of the AI platform you connect.

We apply rate limits to sign-in, exports and edits. We may limit, suspend or end access if you break these rules.

Plans and payment

Free to start. Any paid plan will be announced here before it begins.

Other services

Claude (Anthropic), ChatGPT (OpenAI) and the other services we rely on are independent. They have their own terms and we do not control them. They may change or stop supporting connectors, and that may affect how Remembite works for you. We do not promise that Remembite is available in every country, plan or version of an AI platform. Remembite is not affiliated with Anthropic or OpenAI.

Changes to Remembite

We try to keep Remembite reliable, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features and do maintenance. You can export your data in the app at any time while Remembite is running.

Ending your use

You can stop using Remembite and delete your account at any time in the app. Deleting your account removes your meals, meal photos, water entries, weight readings, saved foods, goals, usage events, consent records, connected apps and sign-in. It cannot be undone. Encrypted backups can hold a deleted account and deleted meal photos for up to 31 days. The Privacy page explains this.

We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect Remembite or other people. Where we can, we will tell you first. Sections that by their nature should continue (medical advice, estimates, disclaimers, liability, disputes) continue after your account ends.

Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, Remembite is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. This does not remove rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, even if we were told they could happen.
  • Our total liability to you for all claims about Remembite is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 100.
  • We are not liable for harm that comes from relying on estimates, or from diet, health or medication decisions made using Remembite.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and for fraud. It also includes any consumer rights that cannot be waived where you live.

Disputes and your rights

If you have a problem with Remembite or these Terms, email hello@remembite.com first. We will try to resolve it informally within 30 days. Nothing in these Terms removes the consumer rights you have under the law where you live, including the right to go to the courts there.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and change the effective date and version above. For material changes we will also email the address on your account at least 30 days before they apply. If you do not agree, delete your account before the change takes effect. If you keep using Remembite afterwards, you accept the new Terms. This does not change your health data consent. If what we do with that data changes materially, we ask for consent again.

General

These Terms and the pages they link to are the whole agreement between us about Remembite. If a part cannot be enforced, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a term, we have not given it up. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them to a successor of the business. We may contact you by email.
