Remembite support
Answers to the common questions about Remembite. Your AI does the math, and Remembite keeps the record. You can create a free account with your email. For anything not covered here, write to hello@remembite.com.
How close are the numbers?
Who calculates the numbers?
Your AI assistant does. It estimates the grams of each food and works out the calories, protein, carbs and fat. Remembite saves those numbers as sent.
What does Remembite check before it saves a meal?
Before it saves a meal, Remembite compares each food it can confidently match to a USDA-based reference, and checks the protein, carbs and fat against the calories. If a number looks far off, Remembite does not save it. It sends a question back to your AI, which asks you to confirm or fix it. The methodology page has the details.
Are the numbers right?
They are estimates. The amount of food is the biggest source of error, because most meals are not weighed. Weighing food in grams gives the best estimate. The check helps catch numbers that look off, but it cannot tell whether a portion was guessed well.
Is this medical advice?
No. Remembite is a tracking tool and gives no medical advice.
What does Remembite store?
When you use your account, Remembite stores the foods you log, quantities, nutrient estimates, meal date, time and time zone, the water you log, your body weight readings in the unit you chose (kg or lb), the photos you attach to a meal, your personal food names and meal templates, and your nutrition goals. It also stores your email for sign-in. This can reveal information about your health, so Remembite asks for your explicit consent before it stores your meals.
Remembite does not sell your data and does not use it for ads. When you ask Claude or ChatGPT to show your records, Remembite sends them to that assistant, and the assistant's own terms then apply to what it receives.
The sample dashboard on this site shows sample data and stores nothing about you. Our marketing pages count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, and load Google Analytics only if you accept the cookie banner. The app and the sample dashboard are not counted. The privacy page lists the companies that process data for us.
How do I export my data?
Open the Account page in the Remembite dashboard, find Export your data and choose Download JSON or Download CSV. JSON has everything Remembite stores about you except photos. CSV has one row per food you logged and opens in a spreadsheet. If you added meal photos, a Download photos (ZIP) button appears too. Exports are limited to 5 every 10 minutes.
How do I delete my account and data?
Open the Account page, find Delete account, type your account email, then choose Delete my account. This deletes your meals, meal photos, water entries, weight readings, saved foods, goals, connected apps and sign-in, and it cannot be undone. Export first if you want a copy.
You can also delete smaller things. Ask your AI app to delete a meal (its photos go with it), or to forget a saved phrase or template. You can delete a single photo in the app. Deleting a phrase or template does not change meals you already logged.
Backups: encrypted nightly copies exist, and the copy kept in cloud storage is deleted after 31 days. Deleted photos stay in backups until then.
Can I withdraw my consent without deleting my account?
Yes. On the Account page, choose Withdraw consent. Remembite then stops showing or recording your meals, meal photos, water, weight, goals and saved foods, and signs you out on every device. Your data stays until you delete it.
Which AI apps does it work with?
Remembite is built for Claude and ChatGPT. Claude connects through a custom connector, and ChatGPT (beta) through developer mode. Steps are on the how to connect page, and the ChatGPT steps are on their own page. To remove an app, disconnect it on the Account page; it can keep access for up to 15 minutes afterwards.
