Feature
Log a meal by describing it, no food search
Describe a meal to your AI in plain words. It works out the grams, calories and macros and sends them to Remembite, which saves the meal as a record you can read back, chart and correct. There is no food search and no serving picker.

Why does logging a meal still feel like a chore?
Search a database, pick a match, pick a serving size, repeat for every food. When a food is hard to find, people skip it.
"I feel like in the past when counting calories I sometimes choose not to eat because I don't know the calories or I choose not to track something because I don't know the calories. With an AI estimator that is no longer a problem."
Your AI does the math. Remembite keeps the record.
What does Remembite do with a meal you describe?
Once the connector is added, your AI can call 23 Remembite tools: save, repeat and change meals, log water and weight, read a day or a date range, set goals, keep your own names for foods and meals, look up a reference food, and look up a packaged product by barcode.

For each item your AI sends the grams, calories and macros it worked out, and Remembite saves them. For foods it can match to a USDA reference, a number that looks far off is not saved: the question goes back to your AI, which asks you. How that check works.
What does a logged breakfast look like?
A sample run on sample data. The prompt is ours; the tool result is real.
- Say what you ate. "Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs, 2 slices of whole wheat toast and a glass of orange juice."
- Your AI sends three items: scrambled egg 120 g, whole-wheat bread 70 g, orange juice 240 g. Those grams are its assumptions, and you can change them.
- Remembite saves one meal. The result reads "Logged breakfast: about 473 kcal, 22.3 g protein." The day so far shows 473 kcal against a 2,000 kcal goal and 22.3 g protein against 130 g.

To fix a wrong entry, tell your AI ("Make that three eggs.") or use Edit meal in the app. Setup steps are on Connect.
What does it not do?
- Your AI estimates the grams and the numbers. Remembite does not calculate them.
- Photos and restaurant menus are not inputs. A barcode can be looked up in Open Food Facts for reference values, and your AI still decides what to log.
- Claude works on web, desktop and the iPhone app. ChatGPT (beta) works on the web, via developer mode.
Not for you if you want a barcode scanner.
Questions about logging by chat
Can ChatGPT or Claude log my meals?
Claude can, through the Remembite connector on web, desktop and the iPhone app. ChatGPT can too, in beta, on the web, via developer mode. See Can ChatGPT or Claude track calories?
What if the AI is wrong?
A number that looks far off for a food Remembite can match is sent back as a question before anything is saved. Other estimates stay labelled "AI estimate".
