Cooking yield, USDA
32% of the raw weight remains after pan-frying (USDA ARS, one sample). It varies with cooking method.

Bacon loses a big share of its weight in the pan. USDA ARS lists a pan-fried cooking yield of 32 percent from one sample, and records both a moisture loss and a fat loss. That makes the raw slice a poor guide to what is on the plate. ARS lists separate rows for pan-fried, baked and microwaved bacon. USDA names the cooked record "Pork, cured, bacon, pre-sliced, cooked, pan-fried", so bacon from the oven or microwave may differ. Also check whether you eat the fat left in the pan, since people sometimes mop it up with toast.
Log by slice and say 'cooked' or 'fried' when you can. If you buy thick-cut bacon, the slice count may undersell the portion: USDA lists a cooked slice at 12 g and a raw slice at 28 g. Bacon is a breakfast item, so it usually appears alongside eggs, and eggs have their own rows by cooking method.
It depends on the state you weigh. A pound of raw bacon is 1783 kcal and a pound of pan-fried bacon is 2123 kcal, so half a pound is half of the pound row for its state. Do not use the cooked row for a pack you weighed raw.
One pan-fried slice is 54 kcal at the USDA slice weight of 12 g. One raw slice is 110 kcal at 28 g. The two rows come from different USDA records, so they are not the same strip before and after cooking.
USDA ARS lists 32 percent for pan-fried bacon: the cooked weight was that percent of the raw weight. It is one sample, and ARS has separate rows for baked and microwaved bacon.
